 Mail app may crash due to a memory error, and may not synch mail when in the background. We plan to service this issue with an update via Windows Update.

Recently Microsoft announced and rolled out Windows 10 Build 10122 to the Windows Insiders on Fast Ring, the build had alot of bugs and will not be rolled out to the Windows insiders on Slow Ring. This has led to the rolling out of a stable Build, Build 10130, which is available to the fast ring users only and can be installed from WINDOWS<SETTINGS<UPDATE AND SECURITY.

Windows 10 Build 10122's AMD problem fixed

When Microsoft released the latest Windows 10 insider preview build 10122 earlier in the week, there was one big known issue which will have put some people off updating. Windows Insiders on systems with AMD GPUs were warned that the new build could lead to stability issues, and problems with Windows Edge (or Spartan as it’s still branded in the current build).

Android M rumoured to be announced at the I/O might come with update guarantees for Nexus devices

Google is rumored to be announcing the next version of Android called M at the I/O which is happening in San Francisco on the 28th of May and apparently it will come with an update guarantee for Nexus devices.

Windows 10 Build 10125 is a Windows 10 build which has not been released to the general public but available only to Microsoft employees. It includes a number of new changes and features over the last public preview build which is build 10122. Build 10125 includes new icons, improved customization to Start and a back button for tablet mode.

Mozilla is on a mission to show that online advertising can be done without violating a user’s privacy—or at least not violating it too much. Next week, the beta channel of Firefox will start testing new advertising tiles based on a user’s browsing history.
The new advertising feature, called Suggested Tiles, joins Directory Tiles and Enhanced Tiles, which went public in Firefox nightly test builds last summer. All three types of tiles appear on a user’s new tab page.

Open YouTube on your PC, but we won’t be using the typical YouTube site. Instead, we’ll need the leanback version at YouTube.com/tv  introduced in 2010.

Shazam for Android Wear: Identify songs and get lyrics on your watch

With Shazam’s newest update, you can identify a song and get the lyrics right on your Android Wear smartwatch. 

The feature comes with an update to the Shazam Android app, which also integrates more deeply with Google’s voice commands. You can now launch the app on your phone by saying, “Shazam this song” or “OK Google, launch Shazam.”         When you launch Shazam on your watch you can swipe to the left to get real-time song lyrics.

When you launch Shazam on Android Wear, it will use your watch’s microphone to listen for music. Once it identifies the song, you can swipe to the left to get a real-time display of the lyrics, perfectly synced with the playing song.

Swipe once more to the left to Shazam another title.

Introducing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10122 for PCs

Today we have a new build for PCs going out to Windows Insiders
 in the Fast ring – Build 10122. I usually start these posts with the
fun stuff at the top but want to call out our only big known Issue
here right away – if you’re using an AMD GPU you’re likely to
run into frequent crashes in Microsoft Edge (still branded as
 “Project Spartan” in this build.) If you want to avoid that, simply
 go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update > Advanced
 and change to the Slow ring to sit this one out. We’re working with
our partners at AMD on new drivers which should prevent the issue
 and will update this post once they’re released.

Windows 10 Will Not Be Free For Pirates

Microsoft executives who previously seemed to have said Windows 10 upgrade will be free to all windows 7 & 8 users pirated or not , said on Friday that the company will not offer Windows 10 for free to those without legitimate licenses to Microsoft’s software.

Executive vice president of operating systems for Microsoft, Terry Myerson wrote Friday that the company will provide “very attractive” offers to those who wish to upgrade from what he called a Windows operating system in a “non-Genuine state” to Windows 10. But, he said, it will not be free.
